Elevator Pitch No. 2

1) Pitch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsm4nXGKeV4

2) A reflection on the feedback you received from your last pitch:
The comments I received on my last pitch where all very helpful and I took them seriously as if I was doing a real life pitch for my product. Most of my feedback said I did a good job giving the pitch and that I looked comfortable in front of the camera. For this pitch, I hope I improved on getting my message and thoughts out, and that the product sounds like it could be useful and beneficial!

3) What did you change, based on the feedback?
Based on the feedback I received, I spoke about how condensation can be an issue on camelbacks and bottled products first and then went on to introduce my product and my idea for using cork on the product.

  1. Hello Michelle!
I wanted to let you know that your video doesn’t show up on your blog. When you’re getting ready to post it, you must click the icon to pull the video from your YouTube account instead of pasting it as a web address. Your video was very professional. I love your idea! It’s brilliant. Your video was eight seconds away from sixty seconds which is awesome. Maybe some improvements for next time can be a different location, closer to sixty seconds, and relax a little more! The bright light behind you was distracting. Overall, great job! I loved that you stood and made it dynamic! I shaved off twenty seconds of my video from last time! You should check mine out and let me know what I could do better. 2. Hi Michelle! Your video was great, first of all, I think you did a great job speaking, especially with great grammar, clear enunciation, and nice confidence and conviction. Additionally, I like all the improvements that you made from the first time video you had, your "changed according to feedback". The only feedback I can give you is to just try and relax a little bit! You have a great idea, and you speak well, so just relax and have fun! 3. Your pitch is well done. My question for you would be, how would you convince people to buy your product over other insulated bottles, which would also limit condensation. You might be able to make them cheaper, as most insulated bottles are metal. The flip side, is that cork is not the toughest material, so a metal bottle would last much longer.

  5. Hi Michelle!

Your pitch was great, your amiability really transcended throughout it. My only tip would be to look at your audience more, in this case, the camera.

Admittedly, I can't relate to the problem. I drink room-temperature water like a weird-o, but I'm more than sure that if I weren't, I would also be annoyed by the condensation. Great idea!

  6. Hi,
I also think it would be convenient if you were to embed your videos within your actual post, just for the viewers sake. But other than that I think you did a good job. Remember eye contact is everything, look into their soul! Also expand on as many details as you possibly can in your timeframe. This is a quality effort.
